It Isn't Too Far, Now

Inspiration:

Ouveillan is surrounded by gorgeous landscape. There's nowhere you can look that isn't something out of a dream. Growing up, kid's often ask, "are we there yet?" and we are quick to assure them we are, even when we all know there's several more hours in the car. That last bit of the drive can be torture, but in Ouveillan, the view is so dreamy, I felt I was already there. I wanted to keep this with me, to remember that every path has a destination, and every day has it's end. "It isn't too far, now... we're almost there, it'll be okay, just enjoy the ride." 

Details: 

This is a 6x8" acrylic painting on 200 GSM handmade cotton paper with deckled edges. While the piece comes unmated and unframed, it is gorgeous in either a floater frame or matted and framed with deckled edges showing.
