We Don't Need Our Shoes Today
We Don't Need Our Shoes Today
Inspiration:
I grew up in the South. I never wore shoes. Never. Not growing up, not grown up, not until I moved away to college. It's a "country" thing I guess, but not wearing shoes for me is like knowing I have everything I need with me. I need nothing more and nothing less. It's just right. It doesn't mean that I've had every thing I've wanted or even everything that I've felt I've needed...it means that I trust I am provided for in the way that is best. When I'm in a barefoot season of life, I want to soak it in and remind myself not to forget what it feels like to trust in what I've already been given.
