Inspiration:

I once thought that my second love story would somehow be less than the first one...and then I met Bastien. No matter how old we may get, or how many love stories we might live out, there seems to always be some part of us that is capable of experiencing those innocent firsts again- even when we've believed we just aren't capable of them. I thought I'd never fall head over heals again, or experience butterflies, but alas, I was wrong, and thank goodness for it! It was a beautiful and unexpected surprise to find love in my thirties... There is always hope that anything lost can be found again, even something as "small" as a blush.

This is a 6x8" acrylic painting on 200 GSM handmade cotton paper with deckled edges. While the piece comes unmated and unframed, it is gorgeous in either a floater frame or matted and framed with deckled edges showing.
