He Loved Me Like Linen In The Sun

Inspiration:

Love is often portrayed as powerful and passionate, and yet, the love I found in my thirties was gentle, warm, and a slow burn- like the growing heat of the sun on cool linens airing out to dry. Some loves are instant, but some need time and patience and encouragement. We're not always ready to love, or to be loved- sometimes we need time to be shaken, and aired out, and taken care with in this more gentle way. This was my love-slow and warm and steady.

Details: 

This is a 6x8" acrylic painting on 200 GSM handmade cotton paper with deckled edges. While the piece comes unmated and unframed, it is gorgeous in either a floater frame or matted and framed with deckled edges showing.
