Inspiration:
If you've walked a hard season in life, you know how lonely it can be to feel like a single log, floating down a river- directionless and alone. My first visit to Ouveillan was a season where I truly understood what the psalmist meant when he wrote "you hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me." I felt held, seen, and known- like all those worst days and tears were gathered up and slowly shuffled to this place where it was all coming together the way I felt God had promised it would be held together (but wasn't quite sure then if it would be). I love this piece because it reminds me that I can always know, in whatever season of life I find myself in, that I am held, and it is held, together.
Details:
This is a 6x8" acrylic painting on 200 GSM handmade cotton paper with deckled edges. While the piece comes unmated and unframed, it is gorgeous in either a floater frame or matted and framed with deckled edges showing.
Shipping:
I currently ship standard to the continental US only. Each painting is shipped out of my studio in Birmingham, AL within 1 week of the order date.
